Terms and conditions for purchase and participation in scheduled tours. Scheduled tours refer to all activities with fixed departures as published on our website.
The booking becomes binding once you have received written confirmation from Fjord Cruise Vesterålen confirming receipt of payment. Fjord Cruise Vesterålen is then responsible for delivering the products/experiences you have booked, while you become financially responsible for the booking. At the moment you make a booking, you also confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any travel companions. You accept responsibility for ensuring that payment is made to us for all travellers in your party. You are responsible for ensuring that the reservation matches your booking. You are also responsible for ensuring that all members of your travel party are fully informed about what has been booked and about any changes.
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 15 days prior to the departure of the activity. Any amount paid will be fully refunded.

In the event of a no-show, the cancellation policy of less than 48 hours before the arrival/start time applies.
Fjord Cruise Vesterålen reserves the right to change tours and programmes due to weather conditions. All programmes and tours may be altered or cancelled for safety reasons or due to insufficient bookings. In the event of a cancellation on our part, any amount paid will be fully refunded. The participant who made the booking will primarily be contacted by email (or phone) provided at the time of booking. It is therefore important that participants check their email regularly for updates and notifications.
Participants must have valid travel insurance. Fjord Cruise Vesterålen cannot be held responsible for losses or additional costs caused by delays or circumstances beyond the company’s control, such as strikes, accidents, illness, or other events classified as force majeure. Fjord Cruise Vesterålen is not responsible for personal belongings brought by the customer, including bags, glasses, cameras/phones, clothing, or other valuables.
Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to take part in the booked tours. Customers must comply with all rules and instructions provided by us.
Fjord Cruise Vesterålen reserves the right to refuse participation in a tour if a customer poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or if the customer behaves in a way that causes significant inconvenience to other participants.
By making a reservation, participants confirm that there are no medical reasons to question their ability to take part in the described program. Instructions given by guides must be followed. If these instructions are not respected, our guides are authorized to exclude the participant from further participation in the tour. In such cases, the participant is not entitled to a refund.
If a participant chooses to withdraw from a tour or programme of their own accord, no refund will be given.
Any disputes between the customer and Fjord Cruise Vesterålen shall fall under the jurisdiction of the local courts in the company’s place of business.
